As a Member you will receive free entry to our monthly meetings held on the last Thursday evening of each month (except December) in Toronto. Each meeting agenda is unique and usually is a mixture of group activities, educational topics and special guest speakers. Past speakers have included successful inventors, funding consultants and marketing specialists.
As a Member you have the opportunity to showcase your invention in a safe, welcoming environment. When explaining your invention you will receive valuable feedback from a range of professionals and experienced inventors.
We encourage networking between individual Members and you will have access to the membership database. This will enable you to contact Members with the appropriate skills and experience to solve your problems. Also the database includes a list of Member’s tools and facilities that may be shared within the Co-op. The Co-op has also fostered links with like minded organizations and professional bodies that you will have access to, for example Professional Engineers Ontario and local Universities.

Invention Evaluation Receive low cost invention evaluations based upon the tested methods developed by Dr. Gerald G. Udell. This will enable you to concentrate on weak areas of your invention and to determine whether or not to proceed with further development.
For all services provided Members will be receiving significant discounts from market rate and a percentage of payments will automatically be returned to the Co-op. You will be able to receive the help of specialists at negotiated Co-op discount rates. For example you can access Funding Consultants, Patent Lawyers and Engineers at lower than market rates.
Provisional Patent Application drafting fee is approximately $450 – $550, depending on the complexity of the invention.
Design services for concept design and trade studies, design optimization, prototype design, manufacturing drawings and virtual prototyping
Receive up to 40 % tax back for R&D expenditures. Referral to a Tax consultant that will take care of all application and filling work for a contingency fee basis.

Currently we have access to Patent Wizard which can be used for drafting or patent applications
You can submit your invention to be prototyped by one of the leading University Engineering departments in the GTA. Not all applications are successful; however the most likely candidates will be “Mechtronic” a mixture of mechanical-electrical devices. This is test text to spec colour.
